- Instructions on using all the materials offered plus many more activities, including a Short Vowel Song, blackboard activities, creating words by using a moveable alphabet, matching words with objects or pictures.
- Writing
- Forming letters to writing narrations. Patterns to make sandpaper letters for child to trace letters with fingers, tracing letters with fingers, tracing letters on small chalkboards, writing letters in 1" grid, story papers, journals, narrations.
- Spelling
- 117 lessons, writing three letter words to writing poems. The first spelling exercises take place with a child using a small chalkboard to write a three letter word. The 117 spelling lessons follow the same reading steps, beginning with three-letter phonetic words and adding simple sight words. It progresses through longer phonetic words and phonograms. The sentences that are used for reading are reused for dictation.
